Multiple opportunities exist for undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral research in the general areas of geometric and physical computing, and model-based engineering.
Minimum required qualifications:
• Superior oral and written communication skills
• Solid background in undergraduate mathematics
• Reasonable background in computer science
(common data structures and algorithms)
• Willingness and drive to explore the unknown
Definitely a plus:
• Background in physics or engineering
• Knowledge of advanced mathematics
• Experience with geometric modeling and computer graphics
• Familiarity with numerical computations
